If you want to go with a private driving school, I know a great family owned local driving school in Lake in the Hills. It's called Go Slow Driving School and it is owned by two brothers - Pete is a retired LITH Police Officer and Joe is a retired Firefighter. I've known these guys for over 15 years and trust them completely.

Go Slow Driving School was developed and created when brothers Joe and Pete Albanese teamed up with already State Certified Instructor Sean Downs.

Pete, a Retired Police Officer in Lake in the Hills, and Sean, a former employee of The Northwest Herald, form the perfect team of knowledge based instructors who strive to provide your teenager with the proper driving techniques that will carry on with them for a lifetime. 

Teen Programs

Happily serving the Huntley, Crystal Lake, Lake in the Hills, Algonquin and Woodstock area high schools. 

Adult Programs

Adult driving lessons are scheduled on an individual basis.

Refresher Course

If you are about to take your driving test and are a little nervous, our refresher course will prepare you for the state driving exam.
